I've always heard great things about the pizza. We were in the area tonight and decided to give it a go. I called ahead and was told it'd be ready in 20 minutes, so we drove around New Paris for a bit... Not much to see there! Anyway, when wearrived, we pulled up to the drive through; how handy! We ordered a 16 inch pepperoni pizza, breadsticks with cheese dip and a bug juice for the kid. Our total was around $22; not too shabby. The gap that fetched it for us was super nice, as well. So, we get home, pizza smells delish and we can't wait to dig in. Here's our breakdown: Pizza: spicy pepperoni, super cheesy and the ever popular square pieces. It was really very tasty! Breadsticks: five per order and non descript. They tasted.... Ok. Pretty plain. Cheese dip: It's... Yellow. It didn't taste great at all. But we totally loved the pizza. But here is why I didn't rate higher.... Our pizza had a great big, black hair baked right into the cheese. Kinda gross but while we don't normally get too squeamish about such things, it was a little off putting when we found another hair in the cheese dip. Soooo.... Yeah. The pizza was great but the extra specimen that was baked in was a tad unappreciated. I think we'd give it another shot of we're in the area.

Visiting some locals in the area, so this is a place we never would have realized existed, but so glad to have found it!! It's been a long time since I've sat myself down in the corner of a (formerly) smokey hole-in-the-wall place and felt that cozy "here I am, let's sit down, have a brew (or 3) and watch the world (or March madness, in this case) stumble by" kind of place. JUST what the doctor ordered!! This place is apparently pretty well known for its pizzas, so our party of six split three mediums plus a couple of salads. The menu appears to have a pretty good variety of the standard "bar food" staples (subs, fried this and that, etc...) and service was quick and attentive on a late Saturday afternoon. When our veggie WITHOUT olives came out LOADED with the evil greenies (my kryptonite!!) the waitress quickly apologized and put in an order for another one, sans the "o" word!! Nice place, never felt in a rush to leave, and if we were even remotely close to being in this neck of the woods again (I'd looooooooove New Paris in the springtime...!!) we'd be back!!

We drove an hour to get the pizza. The place was packed! We got a seat at the bar after about 10 minutes. We started with the potato skins. They were good, but be prepared they have cheese sauce instead of shredded, so a little messy. The main attraction was the pizza. It was really good. Had the loaded without any olives. Tons to take home and heated great. All in all a very nice Friday night.

As a New Paris original I normally love red front pizza. However when visiting home this last time I tried to order a ham and pineapple pizza. Generic pizza that I've gotten there several times before. I then tried to order another pizza with ground beef and after being put on hold for the second time I was told I was unable to get that as well. Not such a big deal but the time before this I tried to get a 12 pack of beer and was handed one 6 pack I told him I needed another one to make twelve. He goes "oh yeah" and turns to get another. A girl that was working there told him he was being an idiot and to just give me a 12 pack. I'm all for hiring young workers for the summer but good service and common sense would be a nice addition to keep loyal customers and attract new ones.

This place makes incredible pizzas! The interior is nice. It has a small dining area with a bar and some tables along the windows and wall. They also have these bar tables with a round stone spinning thing IN the center of the table which I'm guessing is for your pizza. Never seen a table like that before. Not to mention they also have anchovies, which is a plus for me. Not a lot of places around Richmond, IN that has anchovies or pineapple for that matter. This place, however, does not have pinneapple. I guess no one in Indiana/Ohio likes hawaiian pizzas. I thought it was odd but that's only because I recently moved to this area from Chicago. I highly recommend ordering the wings with the sauce on the side. Best wings ever (better than Buffalo Wild Wings)! My boyfriend ordered a western bbq steak hoagie but it looked like a pressed beef patty. Not that great tasting. Our waitress was the bartender. Considering it was around noon, we didn't mind. Small little restaurant don't really need more than two or three people running a place, especially if business is slow. Patience is a virtue! I think the best part would have to be the drive-thru. Just call in your pizza, stay in your car and pick it up!
